Dopamine Posters is run by a Finnish-British couple Niina & Tim.

Dopamine Posters is Niina’s creation. She is an artist, illustrator and graphic designer, while Tim is in charge of the administration and customer service.

We have been running a company and an earring brand called Crazy Granny Designs for several years. Niina wanted to explore products beyond earrings, so she created Dopamine Posters as a place to put her fun and quirky illustrations on wall art, clothing and other things. Every single design is hand-illustrated by Niina using a variety of techniques, from acrylic, gouache and watercolour painting to digital drawing.

We are based in Finland, but our products are produced and shipped by our printing partners from locations close to you, wherever in the world you are shopping from. This means less waste: we don’t have piles of products sitting in warehouses. Every order is made only after you place it.

But it also means longer production times. We don’t have full control over our printing partners’ production and shipping schedules. Occasionally, if the stock of a particular blank product is low — for example, a specific colour of shirt — there may be unexpected delays, and you might have to wait a little longer for your order. If your order contains several items, it may be split into multiple parcels. These may be shipped from different locations and arrive at different times.

We understand that waiting for your order can be frustrating, which is why we want to be completely transparent about the process. In our experience, production can take anywhere from 1–4 weeks.

So, if you’re in a hurry, we’re probably not the right choice for you. But if you’re happy to wait a little longer, we’re sure you’ll love what arrives at your door!
